Job Details
The Sys ad and Network engineer will be responsible for all aspects of Network Security and Network Configuration at RediSolve. Primary responsibilities include determining network security requirements and evaluating methodologies for meeting those requirements. Responsibilities also include network design, implementation, performance monitoring, availability monitoring, security monitoring, problem resolution, incident response, tier 2 and tier 3 support, and documentation.
Requirements
Complex TCP/IP networks, including multiple routers, firewalls, load balancing technologies and intrusion detection technologies in a High Availability environment!
Experience with firewalls of various types
Dynamic routing protocols including RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
High volume, highly secure, high availability production environments
Defense-in-Depth strategies and overall network security issues
Intrusion Detection and Prevention technologies and methodologies
Strong inter-personal and communication skills
Ability to write proposals or papers, act as a vendor liaison, make presentations to customer or client audiences or professional peers
Comprehensive documentation skills
Preferences
At least 1+ years of experience in Linux administration
At least 1+ years of Network and Security specific experience
At least 1+ years experience in highly secure environments
Extensive experience with TCP/IP networking, DNS, SMTP, NFS
Experience with network monitoring forensics, and debugging tools
Experience with NMS equipment a plus
Bachelors or Masters degree desirable. CSSIP or other certifications a plus
Experience
Minimum of 3 plus years of real world/ hands on experience
Remuneration
Best in the industry. Salary no bar for the right candidate. Salary will comprise of a Base plus two layered, transparent, performance based incentives.
