Job Responsibilities:
Develop high quality game systems and software.
Participate in game design.
Contribute to technical design and architecture of large systems.
Maintain and update existing code base.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3+ years programming games for console or PC.
Experience with client/server programming.
Experience with test-driven development.
Creative problem solving ability.
Must have a passion for game development.
Good communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced iterative environment.
Must be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Skills:
Development experience on PC and Mac.
Experience programming in Flash (AS3) a plus.
Web programming experience a plus.
Game design experience a plus.

Actively share knowledge and responsibility with other team members
Technical Requirements:
J2EE Internet technologies, web applications and services including DHTML/CSS/JavaScript/Ajax, and SQL/schema design desired
Strong Object Oriented design skills including algorithms, data structures, OOD, multithreading, caching, and scalability
Experience in Spring Framework and Hibernate desired
Prior experience in a Linux/Unix deployment environment
Professional Skill Level:
BS Computer Science from top tier school (Carnegie Mellon, RIT, etc.) and 5+ years of experience or MS and 3+ years of experience
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Skilled at quickly and intelligently solving a wide range of business engineering issues in a forward thinking manner
Drive to learn and take on new challenges
Keeps abreast of industry and technology trends
Proactively assess new technologies to enhance the development process and environment
