Job Details
The incumbent's primary focus is to manage the offshore/ onsite projects in line with the targets set for delivery and the major responsibilities include
Managing the identification of opportunity and delivery of the projects objectively with focus on financial (Operating margins, revenue productivity), people matters (Appraisals, attrition, employee satisfaction) and organizational matters (PU Initiatives, DU level initiatives)
Handling proposal reviews, estimation and project planning
Resolution of issues
Ability to directly interact with the Customer and Senior Management at Infosys to manage issues pertaining to the center or specific project(s)
Reviewing of project plans (PMP, CMP) and monitoring critically the schedules, costs, risks of activities to honors commitments made to customer, as per proposal
Ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables
Defining the project team organization
Conducting audits and Technical reviews
Skills/ Profile requirement envisaged
Total experience of 14 years with a proven track record of effective delivery of sales in a retail / logistics/ Shipping industry
Minimum of 5+ years in the retail/ logistics/ shipping industry with an excellent performance
A combination of strong business domain knowledge and strong technology capabilities
Strong knowledge of onsite/offshore operations
Strong people management skills
Strong Domain knowledge
Engineering or business major from a reputed institution
Project Management and team working using a consultative approach are necessary.
Demonstrated ability to handle large teams both at onsite and offshore
Provide inspirational leadership to his team
Handled management responsibilities including Project Management and /or Account Management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to think on his/her feet
Strong client management skills and the ability to navigate difficult political client situations
No travel constraints
People management skills to take ample care of career planning, sensitive to employee issues and conversant with the hiring policies.
Good Financial management in terms of executing project under strict budget and resource constraints.
Technical leadership
Good understanding of Infosys methodologies and quality processes
Good knowledge of estimation methodologies
Key Skills / Qualifications
Must have managed at least a team of 200 people and with at least 18 years of experience
Managed large and critical projects ( arnd USD 10-20 M)
implementation programs
